Empty Jar Guarantee — Use the whole jar. If it doesn’t help, we’ll refund you. · Handmade in the USA

Most Reyic balms share the same base: grass-fed tallow and olive oil. What changes from jar to jar is the scent. Choosing comes down to two simple questions: where you’ll use it, and how you feel about scent.

Start with where you’ll use it

    • Face, lips, and around the eyes: go unscented
    • Hands, body, and feet: either works, so let your nose decide
    • A jar to share or give: unscented is the easy choice when you don’t know someone’s taste

    Then think about your nose

    • If scent tends to bother you, or you share space with someone who’s sensitive to it, start unscented
    • If you enjoy scent, a jar with essential oils adds aroma to the routine
    • Essential oils are concentrated, so even a small amount can smell strong

    The unscented jar

Au Naturel is just tallow and olive oil, with no essential oils or added fragrance. It’s the one we suggest for face and lips, for sensitive noses, and for anyone trying tallow balm for the first time.

    The scented jars

    • Vitalize blends tallow and olive oil with ylang ylang, lemongrass, eucalyptus, patchouli, and peppermint oils for a bright, energizing scent that suits a morning routine.
    • Calm Your Nerves blends them with lavender, bergamot, cedarwood, frankincense, vetiver, peppermint, and black pepper oils for a calm, grounding scent that suits an evening routine.
    • Sun’s Out Balm’s Out blends them with German chamomile, frankincense, lavender, eucalyptus, bergamot, ylang ylang, and cedarwood for a cool, fresh scent. It is not a sunscreen, and it is not meant for sunburn.
    • Harvest Spice blends them with blood orange, cinnamon bark, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla, and copaiba for a warm, spiced scent made for cooler months. Warm spice oils can be strong on sensitive skin, so patch test first.

Each product page lists the full ingredients, so you can see exactly what’s in a jar before you choose.

    Reading the label

We name every essential oil rather than writing “fragrance.” For why that matters, see purpose-driven essential oils vs. fragrance fillers. For what a single word can stand for, read the quiet cost of “fragrance” on a label.

    Patch test either way

    1. Apply a small amount to a small area, such as the inside of your arm.
    2. Repeat once a day for a few days.
    3. If anything feels uncomfortable, stop using it.

    FAQ

Can I use a scented jar on my face?

We suggest keeping scented jars for hands and body, and using the unscented jar on your face and lips.

Can I keep more than one jar?

Yes. Many people keep an unscented jar for the face and a scented one for hands or body, or one scent for mornings and another for evenings.

Where should I start with Reyic?

If you’re unsure, start unscented. You can compare every jar in the grass-fed tallow balm collection.
